Prayer for Michael, in ill health

Please keep the husband of one of my RCIA Catechumates in prayer. Michael is very ill with colitis and is going to be transported today to another hospital far away. His wife is frightened and I told her I would ask some incredible prayer warriors I know to hold them both in prayer.
 
Father in Your compassion please reassure Michael and his wife. Help them both to cope with Michael’s illness and with the distance and all the associated problems for them. Please assure their income and support during this illness and recovery.

Father please ensure the best medical care, and whatever tests and treatments will help Michael. Let Your loving presence be with them throughout; and in Your kindness, please heal Michael.

Father grant Michael and his wife many graces of spiritual growth in faith and insight. Help them in their journey to the fullness of Your truth.
I make these prayers in the name of Your Son Jesus.

Blessed Virgin Mary, please come to our aid and carry our prayers to your Son and the Almighty Father.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, so that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen
