Hi everyone,

I have never posted in this section before, but I’d just like to ask anyone reading this to pray for my family’s happiness and salvation. I love them so much and I want to be with them in heaven, though I know I must place God first in my life. You don’t have to post prayers or anything like that, but you can if you so desire, though; I just want to know that people out there care.

Oh, and I guess you can pray for my own peace and salvation, too.

As a convert to the Faith, I can completely sympathize with your desires, even over and above that which all Catholics feel for their Catholic families. The fear that they could possibly not attain Heaven is extremely pain and often disheartening, especially when they are not responsive to our attempts at evangelization. I can only say that, above all else, we must trust in the goodness and mercy of God. He would not send someone to Hell who did not deserve it, according to the standards of His own will, and we must trust in this with all our being. I pray for the sake of your family and for all families in the world, especially those with non-Catholics in them, for the forgiveness of their sins and their protection against all sin, all evils and all other problems. I also ask these intentions for yourself. I ask for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, your guardian angel, and saints Joseph, Francis of Assisi and Maximillian Kolbe, patron saint of families, and all the other angels, saints and blesseds.
