Prayer for my friend

My dear friend “Steve”, who is Pentecostal, has expressed interest in the Catholic Church. However his family, in particular his parents, are very hostile to the Catholic faith. I desire nothing more for my friend than that he may one day join the Church, but he feels trapped in his current situation by his family.

Please pray that Steve may be converted and for his family situation.

My prayers are being offered right now for Steve and his family. As a recent convert to the Catholic faith from the pentacostal faith, my heart goes out to him. He will be so happy here.

I never thought of praying for his families conversion… I was always focused on him and my prayers involving the family were always focused on allowing them to become more open to the Church, or at least develop some respect for it, but what better way for this to happen than by praying for their conversion as well. Thank you for that.

Just an update yesterday I was able to give Steve a rosary that he had requested earlier, he seems somewhat perplexed by the idea but he said he would “Give it a try.” Thank you all for your prayers and please continue to pray for Steve.
