Prayer for My Friend

Please pray through the intercession of Archangel Michael, that he is fearless and does not fall in despair and that God will help him with his intention.

My friend is in the middle of his full time study (master degree) in a very prestigious university and selective class, and he has earned a full scholarship for that. This is his dream, an opportunity to develop his talent and he feels creative work as his vocation, and it is also his chance for a stable profession in the future. He had a shared accommodation, but now he has lost this and has to move to an expensive place and he would struggle to afford this with his small, part-time job and to continue his study without deferring it or interrupting it.

Please pray for him to find suitable accommodation opportunity, or extra opportunities for work and to be able to continue his study (he is also in his late 30ies, so he does not feel comfortable with a prolonged study). Let God be merciful to him, because he has been through a lot of trials and suffering already, and he was also very merciful to friends in need, devoted himself, provided his support and care.

Please also pray through the intercession of Archangel Michael, that he defeats all fear and despair, my friend is a very emotional person and I pray that these hardship will not break him, but make him a stronger person and stronger in his firm faith and reliance on God.

Mother of Jesus, be our protector and defender against all that is harmful or evil. Bring our needs before Almighty God, that we may be surrounded by God’s Holy Angels, and give us the grace to conquer every danger and overcome all that would threaten our health and well being.
Be for us light in times of darkness, strength when we are weak, wisdom in our confusion, healing in times of illness, and courage to work through life’s problems and difficulties. Give us joy when we are sad, bread to feed our hunger, and eternal life to defeat the power of death.
Virgin Mary, guide our life-journey, so that we may always walk safely together with you and your Divine Son, Jesus Christ in God’s loving friendship. Amen.
