Prayer for my marriage

Dear brother’s and sister’s in Christ,

I ask for you to please keep my family in your prayers, in particular my wife’s nature. We’re coming towards are two year anniversary and since the arrival of our son (10 mo), my wife has shown a nasty, unpleasant side that has and continued to affect, hurt my parents and myself. I will continue also to pray she allow’s God to soften and move her heart, to be more compassionate, gracious and loving towards other’s - and not only just towards our son (and sometimes me).

I’m aware this is somewhat vague, and raises lots of questions, especially my part in this marriage, but I’ve decided to keep the details out and for the purpose of this post, only ask for your prayers for my marriage, and family (immediate and extended) whom I love all dearly.

Eternal Father, hear our prayers ~

Please take away all the pain and hurt in Peter and his wife’s hearts. Fill them with love, joy, patience, and understanding. Where there is anger, create grace. Where there is discord, create peace. I lift up Peter’s whole family to you. Let them all come to have a closer walk with you, Dear Father. Let them seek your face each morning. Let them cry to you and may you heal their pain. We ask this in Jesus’ precious name. Amen ❤️

Virgin Mary, Mother of fair love, Mother who never refuses to come to the aid of a child in need, Mother whose hands never cease to serve your beloved children because they are moved by the divine love and immense mercy that exists in your heart, cast your compassionate eyes upon us and see the snarl of knots that exist in our lives.
You know very well how desperate we are, our pain and how we are bound by these knots.

Mary, Mother to whom God entrusted the undoing of the knots in the lives of his children, we entrust into your hands the ribbons of our lives.
No one, not even the evil one himself, can take them away from your precious care. In your hands there is no knot that cannot be undone.
Powerful Mother, by your grace and intercessory power with Your Son and our Liberator, Jesus, take into your hands today these knots…I beg you to undo them for the glory of God, once for all, You are our hope.
O my Lady, you are the only consolation God gives me, the fortification of my feeble strength, the enrichment of my destitution and with Christ the freedom from my chains.

Heavenly Father, touch this couple and heal their pain and struggles. Walk beside them as they go through this trying time. Offer them the love and comfort needed to overcome these obstacles. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
