Deepest sympathies for your loss. I do believe the prayers you prayed gave Sharon peace and strength.

Final Update:
The funeral was beautiful and they told a story that at the point where Sharon died, the whole family and their parish priest were all in the room singing hymns and praying as they cried.
There was a man in the next room who is also dying of cancer and he called the nurses and said he thought he heard angels singing.
My thinking is that their response to their suffering and loss was a conduit of grace for him as well and who knows…perhaps the angels did join in with them in their songs and prayers.
Our God is indeed the creator of things unseen.
My deep thanks to all who have shared your prayers with us in this difficult time.
May the Lord repay you all with many times the graces that you have been to me and my family.
