Prayer for my son to overcome social anxiety

My son had been diagnosed with Childhood Anxiety called Selective Mute since he was 8. He has been struggling socially at school all these years… He is a high school freshman this year, and he had found his love in baseball. I have never seen him so determined to make the team before, he showed great determination and started to talk and contact people about baseball, which he had never done before. To make the high school’s junior varsity team can be his turning point to overcome his social anxiety and start making friends and gaining confidence. However, he had never joined a team or played baseball before…He only started practicing at the batting cage few weeks ago… I am asking GOD and the power of prayer to help my son to do good at his tryout today at school, and make the team of his dream.

GOD please instill the strength and confidence into my boy, and have him to have the courage and the confidence to do well today at the baseball tryout. In your name, we pray!
 
I pray that your son finds the skills that will become the vehicle for his release from fears.

Thank you for the prayers that I received for this post. However, the tryout got postponed to 12/10. It maybe GOD’s intention for my son to practice more during the week till 12/10… I am asking for more prayers to help him make the team.
