Prayer for my son.

Hello everyone: This is my first time here. I’ve heard so much about this prayer intentions and the positive results. I’ll be short: I have a son (20 y/o), he lives in NJ with his mom and other brothers. The others are fine, but this one is going trough some difficult moments. perhaps is his age and stages, however, lately I found out he tried to commit suicide sometime ago by jumping out of a car. This all happened because he has a girlfriend and they keep arguing etc. I’m not in position to judge who’s right and who’s wrong. I’ve been talking to him without arguing back, letting him vent out, and avoiding giving negative feedback. I need someone to join me and pray for him. His name is Erick, he is a good kid. No drugs, no street problems(God heard my prayers), but I need a little extra help on this one. I don’t know exactly the details since I live in FL, but based on the info I was given, this girl is taking him for a ride. This situation turned serious to me after I heard what he tried to do that night. Please help. Thanks in advance. Galileo

I will pray for Erick as well as your family. I have suffered from depression for a long time. I know it is hard not to “blame” the girlfriend. But most of the time, a suicide attempt is more about feeling sad and hopeless inside. An event like fighting with a loved one may trigger the attempt, but Erick may need some therapy. I myself have a very devout Catholic psychologist that has been a big help. I wil pray that Erick finds what he needs to trust his soul to God. I will also pray for your family as I know how hard it has been on mine to see me being self-destructive.

From one Floridian to another, I’m praying for your son and family.
I’m a young male in my 20’s and can kind of relate to a similar situation from a few years back. That situation introduced Jesus in my life and from their I have found the Church!

I’m believing good things will happen. Also, ask St. Jude to intercede for you. If you mail me your address I will send you a photocopy of my St. Jude prayer card. I only have 1 right now, otherwise I would give it to you.

O Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place and seal Eric and his family and loved ones in Your Precious Blood. Please assist them in their pain and sorrow , please have mercy on them and grant them Your saving Grace. Thank You. Amen.

My eldest son years ago had suicidal periods for the same basi reason as your son. With his youngest brother and his wife’s support, he got through. Your kindness and wisdom is a grace that please God will help your son through"I’ve been talking to him without arguing back, letting him vent out, and avoiding giving negative feedback."

Dear Jesus, please help this young man to extricate from this relationship with Your loving comfort and strength, if it is only going to remain a destructive relationship. He needs love and he is only being tortured by the arguments. Please help him through all this Jesus, and lead him to healthy and happy relationship. Help his family to be present to him powerully, especially when he is in danger of despair. Mother Mary, cherish and protect him.
 
Dear Lord, please send Your angels to surround and protect Erick from any harm that he might cause himself. Reach into his heart and show hime Your love. Take him by the hand and lead him to Your holy Church. In Jesus name we pray.
 
Father, please send down your Holy Spirit upon Erick
to grant him strength, comfort and peace.
We beg of you to send your angels to guide him and
remove all evil from his path.
I ask this in the name of Jesus.
