Prayer for new mother

Hi all-

I need to ask for prayers, maybe a bit selfish, but I really need your prayers. I have a three week old newborn and 2 toddler boys, our transition is not going well. I am overwhelmed, very hormonal, and stir-crazy in the constant Oregon rain. I am not handling things well. Please pray for me and my family. Thank you. Prayers to all here who need prayer as well.
 
As soon as I finish typing this, I will pray for you, Jennifer. I know how stressed out you can get in your circumstance…I hope you take comfort in strength in knowing there are folks out there praying for you that don’t even know you (yet!!–in heaven, right?). Hang in there!
 
I went through something very similar with the birth of my number 3…panic attacks and all. My friends prayed me through it…I’ll be doing the same for you.

Not one bit selfish, Jennifer…indeed we all battle somewhere or other and are in need of prayer…thank you for your own for us. :signofcross:Will keep you and your family in prayer - gosh, a newborn and two toddlers I think would try the virtue of a saint. A real handful!..Barb

Not selfish at all, congrats on your motherhood. I can’t wait for God to bless me with children someday. I will be praying for you and your family.

Dear Lord give your daughter Jennifer the peace, harmony and courage and strength to be the mother you intend her to be and the mother she strives to become . Dear Lord give her all the strength to endure the difficult and stressful times . Lord let this family be happy and harmonious and filled with your love DEAR LORD . Thank you for this LORD , in the name of Jesus , amen . Jennifer the LORD hears our prayers for you and he will give you everything . Prayer to Saint Anne

Glorious Saint Anne, we think of you as filled with compassion for those hwo invoke you and with love for those who suffer. Heavily laden with the weight of my troubles, I cast myself at your feet and humbly beg of you to take the present affiar which I commend to you under you special protection. {mention your petition}

Deign to commend it to your daughter, our Blessed Lady, and lay it before the throne of Jesus, so that He may bring it to a happy conclusion. Cease not to intercede for me until my request is granted. Above all, obtain for me the grace of one day beholding my God face to face. With you and Mary and all the saints, may I praise and bless Him for all eternity. Amen.
