I ask for prayer for our soldiers and my Brother who is in Iraq!

Praise be to God our Father by which through the atonement of his blood and Holy Baptism may we know Him and may be saved. I pray to God that my works may be a blessing and used for Your Glory. I lift this Prayer to You Father God that you may have your hand of guidence on our soldiers, protect them and strenthen them with your love. I pray for the ones who do not yet know you to come to the knowledge of you. I praise you Father. Blessed is Your name above all names!

Hail Mary, Full of grace, Our Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women and blessed is the seed of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, Pray for us sinners, both now and at the hour of our death. Amen

I ask all of these things in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit Amen.

Father, we comment Linoge’s brother into Your love.
Father we ask Your loving protection of soul, mind, heart, and body, of all who are serving in the hope of protecting and rebuilding of other nations.

We ask Your protection also for innocent civilians,
and we ask of Your mercy the conversion and repentance of all who intend harm.

Father in Your merciful love, please resolve everything according to Your desire that all live in love of God above all and others as self, in all nations, and especially in those torn by conflict and divided by any unloving understanding of Your will.

Prayer of a Soldier in France

My shoulders ache beneath my pack,
(Lie easier, Cross, upon His back.)
I march with feet that burn and smart,
(Tread, Holy Feet, upon my heart.)
Men shout at me who may not speak,
(They scourged Thy back and smote Thy cheek.)
I may not lift a hand to clear
My eyes of salty drops that sear,
(Then shall my fickle soul forget
Thy agony of Bloody Sweat!)
My rifle hand is stiff and numb,
(From Thy pierced palm red rivers come.)
Lord, Thou didst suffer more for me
Than all the hosts of land and sea,
So let me render back again
This millionth of Thy gift. Amen!

I love this prayer (I heard it was written by by Fulton J. Sheen). I just received it from my daughter and was going to post it but you beat me to it. My 2 sons are Marines so they can really relate!

God Bless all our soldiers. Please protect them and keep them from evil.

FOR OUR ARMED FORCES

O God, I beg Thee, watch over those exposed to the dangers of a soldier’s, sailor’s, or airman’s life. Give them such strong faith that no human respect may ever lead them to deny it or fear to practice it. Strengthen them by Thy grace against the influence of bad examples so that, being preserved from vice and by serving Thee faithfully, they may be ready to meet death, if it should come to them on land, at sea, or in the air.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, inspire them with sorrow for sin and grant them pardon. Mary, Immaculate Mother of God, protect them. Amen.

Our Lady of Victory, we humbly beg thee to protect all our armed forces everywhere and to give them unflinching courage age to defend our country with honor and dignity. Guard our churches, our homes, our schools, our hospitals, our factories, our buildings, and all therein from harm and peril. Protect our land from enemies within and without. Grant us an early peace and victory founded upon justice. Instill into the hearts and minds of men everywhere, a firm purpose to live forever in peace and good will toward all. Amen.

Lifting your brother and … all who are serving our Country.

I am grateful for their protection and keeping us safe.

May they feel God’s loving presence and hear our prayers.

Peace to all,
Kathleen

“I am simply content to find myself imperfect and in this I find my joy. Good deeds count as nothing, if done without love.” ~ St. Therese of Lisieux

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

God of our Fathers, Shepherd of Thy people,
Lord of free men’s souls,
bless Thou our nation with a valiant, Godly
spirit, with a vision to see, with the courage to
try, with the power to achieve, that, marching
behind Thee, Thy people shall not perish. God,
bless our America! Hear our prayer for our
united peoples, grant guidance to our leaders,
protection to our sons, and teach each of us
Thy way of life in good will and peace. Amen.
