Prayer for reconciliation with my ex

Dear Fellow Catholics,

I ask that you keep me in your prayers as I seek reconciliation with my ex. We had a loving relationship of more than two years, with agreement that we were headed to marriage and spend the rest of our lives together. About a month ago it started breaking down, unexpectedly, and we broke up last week. There is a lot of love there and we still care for each other deeply, but my ex said he needs to be alone for now to resolve his issues, though he always has us on his heart and mind and may be open to us getting back together in the future. I ask that you pray to God the Holy Father to give me strength, healing, patience, wisdom, and humility. And I ask that you pray to soften my ex’s heart, help him to work out his issues, and open him up to us again. And I ask you to pray for all of us suffering from a broken heart and for broken relationships, that we may all find healing, peace, and love.

Dear Lord,
Please Leslie help with her relationship. Remove
the pain in her heart. Fill it with love, joy, patience,
and wisdom.

If it be Your will, please reunite these partners.
Help them see each other’s worth. Guide them
