Prayer for sleep and easiness of mind

I have been having horrible sleep as of late, rarely getting more than three or four hours at a go any one time and some nights when I am utterly sleepless and nonsensical or evil thoughts and memories surface that torment me, and fear of bad dreams or sudden horrible thoughts wake me from times when I am about to drift off. I suffer from depression, scrupulosity and involuntary thoughts and have been fighting both for a long time. I have tried various prayers to help aid my sleep and they do not often seem to work, and say prayers for confidence in God’s providence while I sleep.

O Lady of Mental Peace,
Mother of Tranquility
and Mother of Hope,
look upon Galloglasses in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give
  • be always with her.
    And, help her to bring this
    same Peace into the lives
    of others.
Our Lady of Mental Peace,

Most Holy Apostle St. Jude Thaddeus, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of the enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many, but the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases and of things despaired of. Pray for Steafan who needs your special prayers; make use, I implore you of that particular privilege accorded to you to bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired. Come to Steafan’s assistance in this great need that he may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all necessities, tribulations, and sufferings particularly in the healing of the depression, scrupulosity, sleeplessness and involuntary thoughts and that he may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O blessed Jude to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.
 
Thank you for all your prayers, God bless you all, I ask that you say a few more for me as things seem to have gotten worse for me mentally, my sleep is more disturbed, my attempts to ignore scruples seem to make them worse, I do not feel closeness to God in my life and I don’t seem to see any benefit to my efforts.
