Prayer for St. Joseph's Intercession

[nordskoven]

O Saint Joseph whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, we place in you all our interests and desires.
O Saint Joseph, do assist us by your powerful intercession and obtain for us from thy divine Son all spiritual blessings through Jesus Christ, our Lord; so that, having obtained here below your heavenly power we may offer our thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of fathers.
O Saint Joseph, we never weary contemplating you and Jesus Christ asleep in your arms. We dare not approach while He reposes near your heart. Hug him in our name and kiss His fine Head for us and ask Him to return the hug at every moment of our lives and kiss us as we draw our dying breath.
O Saint Joseph, patron of departing souls, pray for us:

–for the peace of Jerusalem and the world in the Immaculate Heart of your earthly spouse, Blessed Mary; the peace of the Sacred Heart of the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ, filling all hearts for all time; for miracles glorifying God and received by us in highest thanks and praise; for a holy, happy, healthy, safe and abundant life in Christ; for the salvation of all souls, especially the most lost and fallen; and for final perseverance.
AMEN

Feel free to add your intentions and may we consecrate ourselves as members of God’s heavenly family to preserving families here on Earth.

May the foster father of Jesus Christ bring lavish miracles in relieving the blight and poverty in today’s world; and bring us all fine insurance that we may share the risk and rewards of community caring; all for the honor and glory of the Most Holy Trinity. AMEN

Glorious St. Joseph, I place before you all the spiritual and temporal needs of the dying, the abandoned and the ill. By your patronage and protection offer them your fatherly and kind intercession and protect them from the malice of the devil and from all harm along with St. Michael and the entire celestial court of the saints and angels. I ask this in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
