Prayer for stomach ailment

Having another stomach ailment that is yet to be identified. It is debilitating and slows me in my zest for life.

Please, if you have room and time, say a small prayer that I am relieved soon.

I appreciate anyone who prays for me. I ask that the Lord blesses those who pray for me, it means more to me than you know.

Prayer to St. Luke:

Most charming and saintly Physician, you were animated by the heavenly Spirit of love. In faithfully detailing the humanity of Jesus, you also showed His divinity and His genuine compassion for all human beings. Inspire our physicians with your professionalism and with the divine compassion for their patients. Enable them to cure the ills of both body and spirit that afflict so many in our day.

Is it ulcers?
As i know that comes from stress generally sometimes
And from experience i know thinking positively and not thinking negatively all occasions
got rid of my ulcers

Praying for you.
Oh God, I pray for W. to be healed of their stomach ailment. Through the intercession of Sts. Timothy and Titus, help them to be strong in this time of struggle. Through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
 
I’m truly sorry for everything you’re going through. I sincerely hope and pray that you may be healed and relieved of your afflictions and that your doctors may quickly discover what your current problem is and remedy it swiftly and without complication or pain. I also pray that you may find the strength, courage and patience to suffer through your problems, offering them up to Christ for the forgiveness of the world. I extend this prayer to all those in the world afflicted with stomach problems, and I ask for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, your guardian angel, and St. Thomas More. God bless. 🙂

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal punisherthunder. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into punisherthunder’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

First of all, sympathy and agreement to how feeling poisoned from within can affect everyday functioning particularly when you don’t know when the bolt of lightning is going to strike from within. It makes social events and travelling as something not to look forward to but be dreaded. You also give up trying to talk about it or to explain to anyone which makes for more isolation and frustration.

I just stumbled on your post and might be of help by suggesting to look up the Specific Carbohydrate Diet. For years, nay decades (!) I have tried every diet known to man, many of them opposite to one another but NEVER thought that seemingly innocuous foods like rice and sugar can be harmful. I ordered this past summer Elaine Gottschall’s book, who really started this movement and who was able to cure her daughter with the help of a physician, Haas, who treated celiac patients in the 1920’s and identified that complex carbohydrates cannot be broken down by a compromised gut. There are also some friendly talks by her on youtube so you can get the idea that she was a kindly but knowledgeable person with a degree in biology.

Something is prompting me to continue and also tell you about the possible benefits of fasting but also the downsides of medications, particularly iron pills that Gottschall admitted can make matters worse (in trying to correct anemia caused by the condition itself). A strange realization came to me that the reason that my last desperate attempts at fasting didn’t work may have well been due to some of those pills getting stuck and forming what is called bezoar. These are not uncommon and most of the time do not exhibit symptoms. Having a lingering taste in one’s mouth from medication can be a clue.

What I am saying is you can investigate these areas if they apply to you. Prayer can help in finding our way. And I might add, that I would also appreciate a good word put in there for me as well!

Prayer to St. Timothy, Patron of Stomach Ailments

Dear Saint, well known for your gentleness, you were a most faithful disciple of St. Paul and like him traveled much to bring the Good News to all people. The Letters Paul wrote to you reveal your zeal and inspire us with confidence in you. You too were cast into prison and you too gave your life for Christ. So with confidence we dare to ask: please obtain relief for punisherthunder if it be God’s will. Amen.
 
Again, thank you all for the kind words, advice, and prayers. Reading through your prayers, I was very close to tears at the outpour of support you wonderful people have shown me. You are the epitome of the faithful. 🙂

I ask God to bless those of you who prayed for me. It really means a lot, more than you know. I have another doctor appointment tomorrow and am praying steadfastly for relief from this pain.

Thank you all for the prayers. Saw a doctor today, however there wasn’t an underlyng cause found. Too many symptoms could be too many things. Have to see the more doctors soon.

I went to Adoration after my appointment and prayed over this.

Thank you for everyone who prays with me and for me, you are are all truly brothers and sisters in Christ. I’ve asked God to bless those praying for me.

Doctors will not find causes unless they address the issue of diet with all the best intentions, something most of them were not trained in. I’ve been through that myself decades ago. It has been a long frustrating process to find out what fuel will enable this engine to run efficiently. Meanwhile, actual damage has been done as with my car when there was an undetected water leakage. It’s not easy to plot out the cause and effect since there so many variables but for sure food is paramount because it affects all systems. Hope you feel better.
