O Heavenly Father, the God of Love, who IS Love,
help the Church realize the need for the spiritual
exercise of Alms-Giving. To give to the Poor is to
lend to the Lord. Prov. 19:17.

Our Father, who is in heaven,
Your Name be held holy,
Your Kingdom come,
Your Will be done on earth
as it is in heaven.
give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses as we
forgive those who trespass against us,
(forgive us OUR debts, as we have forgiven
our debtors),
and lead us NOT into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
 
Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be, Fatima, Amen!
 
Lord, in this age, we pay our taxes so the Government
thru organizations like the Social Services can
look after the Poor, but EVERYONE pays taxes, too!!
Help us, as Christians make sacrifices of righteousness
AND thanksgiving by giving MORE than our unbelieving
neighbor, not drawing attention to ourselves, but like the
widow’s mite, be commended by our Lord God, who
Loves the Poor.
Amen.

You have given us three spiritual exercises to
practice and build up our spiritual muscles, one
of these is alms-giving help us to remember the
poor when we spend on luxuries and to use the
same generosity towards others less fortunate.

Holy, holy, holy, Lord God of hosts,
heaven and earth are full of Your glory.
Hosanna in the highest, blessed is He
who comes in the Name of the Lord.
Hosanna in the highest.
Amen.
