Thank you all for you prayers.
Today my Lord I pray that Mike see’s the gravity of his addiction and seeks medical help. Lord I try to guide him but he is so unwelling. I know deep down he knows he has a big problem. I pray that on Sunday his eyes and heart will see you and remember how great you are. That he will find his soul again and leave all his demons.

Thank you Lord for everything you have done for me and guided me though my life. Please give me the srtenght to bring home this lost soul to you.

For this I pray.

Thank you for all your prayers.

Michael has been in the hospital but once out he continued to drink. I pray that the Lord will show him that there is so much more in life than drinking. I continue to pray for Mike .
Recently I converted to be a Catholic on 6/13/2010 which he could not attend because of his illness. But the Lord grace me with the happiest day of my life. He gave me such peace that day. I know that God is carrying me through this but the demons in Mike are so deep. I pray for this lost soul and all that are consumed with this illness. There is life though our Lord Jesus.

May the Lord be with you all.

I’m going to a Mass for Healing tonight, and I will bring your Mike before the Lord and pray for his deliverance. There is no soul so lost that the Good Shepherd can’t find them and save them. Your prayers are certainly being heard, even if you can’t see an answer yet.

Thank you for you wonderful and conforting prayers for Michael,

I don’t know where the time goes but the days all go into one another.
I prayer on a daily bases for the recovery on Michaels lost soul. I know that I am a sinner but I follow the Lord and he has brought me peace. I know this is the cross I bear and I refuse to run away from it. I know that God will help me handle this and he does have a greater plan for me and Mike. Forgiveness is what I totally can give Mike but there are days that I fail. I ask God to forgive me so I can carry on with this battle of Mikes addiction. It is easy to be nice to the kind, but it is challenging to be kind the someone who is lying, cheating and stealing but can have a double side to them. i know this addiction started when he was young and if I give up then there is no one for him until he finds God.

I thank every one for their kindness and prayers.

May God bless all of you.:crossrc:

Dear Lord it’s been a while since my last post but you have answered a pray that Mike finds a job. Even with his depression you brought a part time job right to him. Thank you dear Lord. Knowing he was incapable to fine one on his own. You have bless my life in so many ways in taking care of me when I didn’t know what I was doing. You brought me to a wonderful Neo Cat community that eveyone is lovely. This gives me strength to carry on.

Thank you :heaven::heaven:Lord.

Praise God! I’m so happy to hear the news regarding Michael’s job. Going in the right direction.

I’ve thought of you often. I am married to a recovering addict. He just relapsed. Need prayers for both of us. Trying to keep this marriage together, while at the same time trying to be true to myself.

My husband is a Protestant and is a very doubting person of faith. After talking, he is going to attend a church he is comfortable at … and also signing up for Stephen Ministry and a class on “baggage in his life” … from everything I’ve read (and that’s ALOT!), his baggage could very well be the BLOCK to his spiritual journey.

Prayers, please. :gopray:

Love you all:grouphug:

Thank you for all your prayers. I pray for you and your husband. God will care for you both. Have faith and he will never let you down.:bible1:

Michael will begin his journey with his new job 9/13/10. He also has slowed up his drinking about a week ago. He told me that he is sick and tired of being sick. I think he has gotten the message that his drinking is catching up with him. He still has another addiction to sex. This is something I never knew in the thirty years of marriage.
Mike always was very reserved and never spoke off color or anything. I found this out two years ago. He is a tormented soul.:console: To leave him he would spiral down. I can not let this happen. God has him in his hands. I pray for all the addicted souls that cannot find there way back home. One day Mike will come back home to God. God has open so many doors for me it is amasing.:byzsoc:

Peace

I pray that Michael comes to terms with his additions. I give this all up to you Dear Lord. Only you know how to handle this. Guide Mike with his new job let him find the happiness and peace you have given me. I don’t plan to ever give up this battle with the devil that is the driving force in these additions and in the behaviors Mike has. Lord you have given me
strenght to carry on. For this I pray.:gopray:

Dear Lord,

Thank you for all you have giving me. Help today in my struggle with my husbands addictions and let him know again your love. I will never give up this battle to fight the devil within him. I know there is a good and kind soul with in him. There have been a few times where I thought he is at the end of his additions but something still drives him back. The devil is very powerful among the weak. I thank you for all your love and peace that you have given my threw this.

God you know my heart…❤️

Dear Lord,

Today please protect Michael as he is becoming sicker and sicker. Let him finally fiqure out that he can not do this any longer. Let him know your kind and forgiving heart and realize there is hope through you Lord. This is a man lost in this addictions and never knew who he really is. He is a lost soul and a kind person locked up in his own hell. I have told him that I do not care what he his done or how he has hurt me that I will forgive him. It has been a long and trying road but I will never give up this battle with the devil.

I pray dear Lord to proctect him and guide him home to you.:crossrc:

“But for the Grace of God there go I” With the help of Alcoholics Anonymous I am a recovering alcoholic–28 years. In AA I found a truth about myself and through the grace of the Holy Spirit I found my way back to sanity. God, through your son provide Mike that spark that can start him on his way back to sanity. Also Lord, help his loved ones seek help with AL ANON so they can begin their recovery as well. God please direct your angels to Mike on a “AA-Twelve-Step call” by someone from AA so your word can become known to him…To Mike and his loved ones you have been added to my prayer list. Jesus, in your name I pray. Amen.

PS, I found this on this website if you haven’t seen it already seen it http://www.catholic.com/thisrock/1996/9610fea1sb.asp
its the history of AA with the Catholic church. God works through A.A. and please seek help for yourself through AL ANON. Both these programs work, I’ve seen these miracles myself.

:highprayer:Thank you all for all your prayers. Mike was in the hospital this past week and in great pain. He has stopped drinking not because he wanted too but because he has been in so much pain he doesn’t want to. I pray Dear Lord it’s is not to late for this lost soul and that he can recover. Dear Lord you have given him three times to recover but the devil has a great hold. But I am doing all I can to help him through this. I know Dear Lord you have your plan and I give Mike up to you so you can do your will. I have never given up that you will handle this problem and bring Mike through this difficult time. Thank you Dear Lord for all that you have done for me and Mike. I am internally greatful.

Praise you Lord Jesus Christ
