I would like to invite the Family of God from all corners of the world to pray for the Church of Tanzania for she is in a hard time of parsecutions now. We have witnessed violence of burning church buildings, attempting and even assasinating priests, and TODAY, THE LITURGICAL CELEBRATION OF OPENING A NEW PARISH, WHICH WAS TO BE CELEBRATED BY THE NUNCIO ARCHBP. FRANCISCO PADILLA, ARCHB. JOSEPHAT LEBULU AND TENS OF PRIESTS WAS ATTACKED AND BOMBED IN THE ARCHDIOCESE OF ARUSHA, Just this 1100H.

Thank you for your prayers, thank you for your concern and love!

May god protect his church from all evil. May the Holy Spirit continue to guide the priests and bishop in the area to spread the word of The Lord without being attacked.

😦 I will keep the community, these missionaries and these departed souls in my prayers :gopray2: …Such a tragedy 😦

The continent of Africa is truly one of the bright spots of the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church has grown strong in Africa. This is obviously a difficult time for the Church in Tanzania but when all is said and done and I believe that the Catholic Church will prevail. The very fact that the parishioners wanted the Mass to continue after the petrol bomb was thrown is indication of this. I do pray for the faithful of Tanzania that they will not allow extremists to turn them from their faith but that in the midst of this hardship and suffering that they may find peace in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! :signofcross:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of mercy,
our life, our sweetness and our hope.
To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve:
to thee do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious Advocate,
thine eyes of mercy toward us,
and after this our exile,
show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! Amen.
