I’d like to post a prayer for the disabled who are homeless, left in homes of various kinds, or even at home – who are or feel neglected by relatives. This includes lacking in “checking-in” with them, not visiting, or any other emotional and psychological hardship encountered along with their suffering. I also pray for those who DO NOT neglect their disabled relatives, to be a continuing example of truly loving one another.

Joining in this prayer intention.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be, Fatima Prayer.

Hi CatholicSpirit,

This is nice of you to consider.

God bless you for your thoughtfulness!

Joining in prayer with you and the others here.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
The Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Praying …

You expired, O Jesus,
but the source of life gushed forth for souls
and an ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world.
O Fount of Life,
unfathomable Divine Mercy,
envelop the whole world
and empty Yourself out upon us.
O Blood and Water,
which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus
as a fount of mercy for us,
I trust in You.

Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Praying for the neglected disabled that they God may bless them with those that care, visit and assist.

Prayer for those in Nursing Homes**

Dear Lord, send your blessings on those living in long-term healthcare facilities and nursing homes. When the days become long give the residents patience. When their roommates become a source of irritation, give them inner peace that lets then rise above the annoyance. When there seems to be so little cheer, give them the hope and peace that your Word alone can give. Bless your Word in the hearts of the residents and compensate for the physical abilities you have taken away with a rich measure of spiritual strength and joy. We ask this in your name, you who live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end.
Amen.
