Prayer for the Glorification of Bishop Theodore Romzha

O gracious Lord, in Your infinite goodness You have given us a fearless Bishop, Theodore G. Romzha, who by his uncommon courage, sufferings, and violent death gave heroic testimony to his unshakable Faith and inspired our people to hold fast to their Faith in a time of persecution. Therefore, we humbly beseech You to glorify Your faithful servant, that man of Faith, Bishop Theodore, and to strengthen our Faith by granting us through his intercession …here make your request]. For You are a merciful and gracious God, and we glorify You, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, now and forever, Amen.

Thank you for posting this, Pilgrim. Bishop Romzha is my patron, I hope to see him canonized soon.

O Christ our God, through the prayers of our holy & God-bearing father Theodore, have mercy on us and save us. Amen.

Weren’t there 4 bishops
Gojdich I remember was another

The church I used to attend had a shrine to 4 bishops…
 
May the truth of heaven be declared for the edification of the Body of Christ and the Glory of God. Blessed Martyr Theodore Romzha, pray for us.

  • Pavol Gojdich, bishop of Preshov,
  • died: 17 July 1960 in Leopoldov, Hlohovec (Slovak Republic)
  • Vasil’ Hopko, auxiliary bishop of Preshov,
  • died: 23 July 1976 in Prešov (Slovak Republic)
  • Olekzandr Khira, bishop of Mukacheve,
