As a new Catholic, I have been distressed by some of the negativity I sense towards Pope Francis, whether justified or unjustified.

I ask that the Holy Spirit guide the Pope and the Church to a better understanding and unity. That the Lord increase our faith and trust in His continual guidance of the Church even if we do not always understand His ways. I ask that the Church approach its disagreements in the spirit of charity and goodwill.
 
Father God, please keep Pope Francis physically safe and spiritually holy. Amen. :signofcross:
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.
