O my God, Trinity Whom I adore, help me forget myself entirely so as to establish myself in you, unmovable and peaceful as if my soul were already in eternity. May nothing be able to trouble my peace or make me leave you, O my unchanging God, but may each minute bring me more deeply into your mystery! Grant my soul peace. Make it your heaven, your beloved dwelling and the place of your rest. May I never abandon you there, but may I be there, whole and entire, completely vigilant in my faith, entirely adoring, and wholly given over to your creative action.
Prayer of Blessed Elizabeth of the Trinity
Happy, Holy Feast of the Trinity to all.

If you are interested in Trinty Sunday, our Mother Mary, and an artist’s portrayal, see HERE

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

†

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

†

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Collect for Trinity Sunday

God, we praise you:
Father all-powerful,
Christ Lord and Savior,
Spirit of Love.
You reveal yourself in the depths of our being,
drawing us to share in your life and your love.
One God, three Persons,
be near to the people formed in your image,
close to the world your love brings to life.
We ask you this, Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
one God, true and living, forever and ever.

Dear njlisa,

Thanks for your prayerful reply. I underlined the words from the Collect that blessed me especially. How very much I long to be as Mary was on this earth, His dwelling place, and as St. Elizabeth of the Trinity prayed, to be His “place of rest”.

Dear MS_SURVEYOR,

Thanks for your reply. It is such a beautiful prayer. I first read it, in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, where it was quoted following paragraph 260 mentioned in my blog article HERE which also includes an artist’s concept of Our Blessed Mother as His dwelling place. May we, like Mary our Mother - and as Bl. Elizabeth prayed in her prayer above - never abandon Him.

Dear njlisa,

Thanks for your “Amen”! Several years ago, I prayed St. Maximilian’s Act of Consecration, and I believe it “completed” for me the Consecration I had made of my self at about age 15 praying the Act of Total Consecration written by St. Louis De Montfort.

I continue to renew both Acts of Consecration. This morning, in writing to a friend, I mentioned St. Maximilian’s Consecration Prayer to Mary and especially this part:
…For wherever you enter you obtain the grace of conversion and growth in holiness, since it is through your hands that all graces come to us from the most Sacred Heart of Jesus.
The complete prayer can be found HERE
