Prayer for upcoming hernia repair of a stranger

I would like to ask for prayers for an upcoming hernia repair of an old stranger I met last Sunday. He was walking up the stairs of an overpass when I noticed that he was in tears. I learned that he lived alone and he is scheduled to have a hernia repair on the 26th. He seemed to be in so much pain that I could see his hands trembling while trying to hold his groin, and he was really crying. It was difficult for him to walk and deal with stairs. It took a while for us to reach the other end of the overpass because he can hardly walk. He is a poor man. Good thing, he was able to avail for a free hernia repair and since there is a long list of patients getting free care, he is scheduled to have the operation on the 26th yet. Please pray for him that his pain will be bearable while awaiting his operation and that his operation will be a success so that he will be able to work or do things without difficulty.
