Hi everyone,

DH and I have been married civilly for almost three years, sacramentally for 18 months. He has a beautiful 9-year-old daughter from his first marriage who lives with us half-time, but we have no children together. I have polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and we know that I may have trouble conceiving. We’ve tried Clomid, but that gave me extremely heavy periods and wasn’t successful. We respect the Church’s teaching and we’re not going to try IVF or AI. I seem to be ovulating regularly from what we can tell, but we have not been able to conceive. Please pray for us that if it is in accordance with Our Lord’s most holy Will, we might be able to conceive. Not to sound greedy, but I would dearly love to have two more children - a little boy and a little girl. Please also pray that if Our Lord’s Will is that we should not conceive, that if it is in accordance with His Will we might be able to adopt children.

Thanks in advance. God’s blessings to all.

Praying for your intentions. I have PCOS as well, and we have a beautiful and rambunctious boy now. Clomid + metformin worked for me. I hope you find something that works for you or that you’re able to adopt.

Hi,
Try praying specifically to Our Lady of Civitavecchia. The Shrine is in Italy, and I know the Bishop there has testified that many couples have conceived through Our Lady’s intercession under this title. Also request the help of St Gerard Majella. He is very powerful.
God bless and prayers!

Our Father who art in heaven
Hallowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come
Thy will be done
On earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil
Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

O good St Gerard, powerful intercessor before God and wonder worker of our day, confidently I call upon you and seek your aid. On Earth you always fulfilled God’s designs, help me now to do the holy will of God. Implore the Master of Life, from whom all paternity proceeds, to render His_helpmeet fruitful in offspring, that she may raise up children to God in this life, and in the world to come, heirs to the Kingdom of His Glory. Amen.

Praying for you.
