always present, always just:
You gave your only Son
to save us by the blood of his cross.

Gentle Jesus, shepherd of peace,
join to your own suffering
the pain of all who have been hurt

Hear our cries as we agonize

Send forth Your rays of Blood and Water to cleanse and renew the souls of those who perpetrate these vile acts of Satan. Let the powerful image of Your Divine Mercy find a way of entering the homes of the families affected by physical and sexual abuse, and as You have promised, may Your graces flow from it to renew and restore them. O Blood and Water which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of Mercy for us, I trust in You. Amen.
