Prayer for wisdom regarding car situation

I have a 2003 Chrysler Town and Country unlimited.
My wife is driving it now.
But it’s not a trustworthy vehicle and I am concerned for her safety.

For now I am on contract until November and then may be facing another period of unemployment and low income.

I need a solution because I like to go to Mass and my wife goes to work, so we would like two cars for that reason.

Please pray that I can find another job that would be permanent and have sufficient income to fund retirement.

It’s difficult because I am already 61 years old and I suffer from idiopathic hypersomnia which makes it challenging to find work.
 
Prayer to St. Anthony for Employment

Blessed St. Anthony, who in life was ever mindful
of the needs of the afflicted, consuming himself
in the service of God and for the good of souls,

One of my first Cadillac’s was a Seville, I bought it used in 1982.
 
The most amazing thing I found about my first Seville is you couldn’t turn off the air conditioning…there was literally no off switch. Also, you could take the keys out of the ignition with the car still running.

At least your air conditioning worked! :). I can’t use mine because my car overheats
and my heater doesn’t work anymore so when it is winter in the mountains here, it gets really cold in the car!
I pray you get a good job so you can get a newer used car!
 
You should take the keys of your car to your priest and have the car blessed.
God knows, we can both pray for each other for a better car situation.

O Saint Joseph, we pray to you for those who are out of work, for those who want to earn their living or support their families.

You who are the patron of workers; grant that unemployment may vanish from our ranks; that all those who are ready to work may put their strength and abilities in serving their fellowmen and earn a just salary.

You are the patron of families; do not let those who have children to support and raise lack the necessary means. Have pity on our brothers and sisters held down in unemployment and poverty because of sickness or social disorders. Help our political leaders and captains of industry find new and just solutions. May each and every one have the joy of contributing, according to his abilities, to the common prosperity by an honorable livelihood.
