Please pray for my uncle’s wife who is suffering from bacterial meningitis. This is a fatal brain infection. The next 48 hrs are critical. She may not make it. 😦
She has one daughter who is not even one year yet. Please pray for my family.

For your intentions

Glory to God in the highest
And peace to His people on earth
Lord God, Heavenly King, Almighty God and Father
We worship You, We give You thanks
We praise You for Your glory
Lord Jesus Christ, only Son of the Father
Lord God, Lamb of God
You take away the sins of the world
Lord, have mercy on us
You are seated at the right hand of the Father
Receive our prayer
For You alone are the Holy One
For You alone are the Lord
For You alone are the Most High Jesus Christ
With the Holy Spirit In the glory of God the Father
Amen

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now, and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen.

Lord Jesus, hear our prayers for this family. Amen

St. Joseph, pray for us

and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.

Mother of God,

Remember O Most Gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known
that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help,
or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence we fly unto thee O Virgin of virgins, our Mother.
To thee do we come; before thee we stand, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate despise not our petitions,
but in thy mercy hear and answer them. Amen.

Novena Prayer to
St. Anthony of Padua

O Holy St. Anthony, gentlest of Saints,
your love for God, and Charity for his creatures,
made you worthy, when on earth, to possess
miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your
word, which you were ever ready to speak
for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by
this thought, I implore for you to obtain for me,
[for those who are stressed cure for all ills]
The answer to my prayers may require a miracle.
Ever so, you are the Saint of Miracles. O gentle
and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full
of human sympathy, whisper my petitions into
the ears of thy Sweet Infant Jesus, who loved
to be folded in your arms, and the gratitude
of my heart will ever be yours
Amen.

Heavenly Father,
In this time of need, strengthen her. You are our strength and our shield; You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. I know, Father, that Your eyes go to and fro throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts long for You. The body grows weary, but my hope is in You to renew her strength. Help her not to fear, for You are with her. Help her not to be dismayed or overwhelmed, for You are our God. I know You will strengthen her and help her; that You will uphold her with Your righteous hand. Even as the shadows of illness cover her, let her feel the comfort of Your strength, O Lord.
Amen.
Lord Jesus, hear our prayers for this woamn. Amen

Thank you all for all your prayers. She is recovering now without too much damage to her brain or other functions. Now I ask for you to pray for her marriage to my uncle.

She’s full of bitterness and treating my uncle like a manservant. Her parents constantly disrespect him, control when and where he can see his daughter (they are taking care of her while mom is in the hospital and dad is at work) They were having marriage problems and the family blames him for the stress that lead to her illness. Most of their arguments surrounded money issues. My uncle working 16 hour days and her being unemployed caused much stress on them and he felt that she should be more cautious with her spending. You know how it goes.

He is a fallen away Catholic and she is a protestant. I pray that they both find God’s love and come to the fullness of truth in Jesus Christ our Lord.
