Hi there, i have been searching for someone reputable and trust worthy that does prayer healing - prayer - deliverance healing in the north of ireland. I had went to see John Gillespie on a few occasions but sadly he is no longer with us. God rest his soul. I have no connections with anyone who can recommend someone. I am utterly desperate to find someone who can help my health.

Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreaciated. Even someone who could pray over the phone would be greatly appreciated.
Deepest thankyou in advance

Hi Kevin, thankyou for your reply and thankyou for your prayers. Certain people have caused ill health through their words and i dont know how to turn this around. I repent of my sins and ask for forgiveness from god for speaking to these people. I pray constantly for healing and i have seen a difference. Stopping memories of what these people have said is what is causing me problems. Cant shake them from my mind.
😔

The memories of what these people said caused me low mental health which has become physical. Anxiety, restlessness. Desperate to sort this out.

Yep, id been to a counsellor. I’ll go back again. Might help rid me of a lot of angst. Thankyou

You might obtain a St benedict medal.

Have it blessed and apparently there’s a special blessing for it according to my priest.

St Dymphna of course can intercede and Our Lady.
God bless you.

Hi thank you for your reply Lee, Im not actually from the catholic faith, I come from a protestant background so Im not sure if it would be ok for me to purchase a St Benedict medal?

I am a born again christian and I guess because of other people whom I have forgiven, I am the person feeling the effects of their words. I am not normally troubled like this but their words affected me deeply.

This sounds like something that needs an inner healing. This always begins with forgiveness, as holding resentments keeps us sick. Whenever you have a dream or memory of someone saying something that hurt you, pray for that person, and forgive them.

You can also bring Jesus mentally into a memory, by focusing on Him being present during the times when things happened that were hurtful.

It is no longer what anyone else said or did that holds you, but what you are holding inside yourself.

Jesus felt the effects of all of our wounds caused by sin. It is useful to meditate upon the crucifix, and what He suffered to bear our sins in His body on the cross.

God has called us to be thankful in all things. If you are fighting against such memories, rather than giving thanks that God has brought you through them, then perhaps your mental focus is exacerbating your angst. God allows bad things (such as the suffering of His Son) so that better things can result (resurrection). As Jesus did, we must look beyond the cross, not focusing on the suffering, but upon how He plans to use our suffering for His glory.

So we both know that God is real. Your relationship with God is the most important one and his opinion of you should be your concern not that of others who are human, mortal and prone to error. Their opinions and subsequent words can be like raindrops falling from a waxed coat, of no avail against the fortress of your faith, insignificant and simply noise in a noisy world.

Would our Lord be troubled by such words? Be at peace and trust God with your pain and let Him soothe your troubled mind with love and the peace which passes all understanding.
God bless.

I wonder why you as a non-Catholic would reach out to a Catholic site for this. We are glad you did. My thought is that God is calling you to experience the healing you can receive by His true path, the Church He founded and that remains true to His teaching for 2000 years. We are able to receive Jesus–really and truly present–each day in Communion as well as meet Him in the confessional for healing. The sacraments are there precisely to heal us from sin and the deep effects of sin, both ours and that of others and the world.
Don’t seek a faith healer when you can seek and find Jesus Christ directly. A couple things you can do. Make an appointment with a Catholic priest to talk and receive counsel. Attend Catholic Mass–you can participate in every part of it except taking Communion. Find a parish near you that has Adoration and sit in silence and prayer before your Creator, who knows all about what has happened to you and is eager to heal you. And consider exploring Catholicism so that you can fully take part in the sacraments. God’s blessing on you!

I really do need inner healing, I have repeatedly forgiven these persons but the thoughts reoccur because it was to do with my health. I made a dire mistake and spoke to the wrong people about my life and dreams.

The thoughts pop up and I break the power of these thoughts each time in jesus name but still they reoccur.
I am truly thankful I have God in my life. I will try as you have mentioned above bringing Jesus mentally into the memory and asking for forgiveness.

thankyou

This is not uncommon. The deeper the hurt, the more repetitions of forgiveness we need. This is why Jesus gave us the Lord’s prayer, that we can pray (preferably aloud) every day, or many times a day, to remind us that we must forgive others in order to be forgiven.

Symptoms, whether emotional or physical, are there to draw our attention to what needs healing. Without these reminders, we would not be mindful of what needs our spiritual attention.

We offer forgiveness as often as we suffer, and we join our sufferings to Christ, that we might make up in our own bodies what was lacking in His sufferings on the cross. This deep communion with His suffering on the cross enables us to enter into His suffering, so that we may then enter into His resurrection. Rather than seeking to be free of suffering, take the mindset of accepting the suffering, and use it to make reparation for the sins of others.
I made a dire mistake and spoke to the wrong people about my life and dreams.
People said hurtful things to you, and in this way, you are in communion with the sufferings of Christ, because people say things that are hurtful to Him also.

The deeper the disclosures we make about ourselves, the more painful it is when we are treated poorly after sharing them.

God is calling you to give up your life and your dreams - to lay them at the foot of His cross. He calls us to pick up our cross and carry it. The cross is a death sentence. Anyone who picked up their cross was separated from their life and their dreams.

Be thankful for the pains that pop up, because they remind you that you must pick up the cross, and carry it, relinquishing your life and dreams in His service.

thankyou to everyone for your replies. much appreciated
