Prayer Idea

I have an Idea that I would like to propose .That is when ever I was my hands I say an
our father.for special intentions or the souls in purgatory.
Get your hand germ free and offers pray at the same time .It only took one day to become a part of my daily prayer,

Hey Chuk, that’s a great idea! I WILL do it. Maybe something else people can do is to say a" Hail Mary" every time they hear a siren going. A siren is either a firetruck, police car, ambulance, tornado warning, hurricaine warning, sunami warning. What all those have in common is that somebody needs help or there is danger. I think people in that situation could use a “Hail Mary”. Our nuns taught us to do this, and I still say one each time.

Very good I already do say a prayer every time i hear a siren .
Amen! Amen! anything that increases prayer gets an Amen from me .

I’d propose a Glory Be during the washing of the hands - it takes about ten seconds, which is about the length of time you should be soaping. An Our Father is too long, your hands will dry out

But I have my rituals - I pray a decade or two of the Rosary on my commute to work, make the sign of the Cross whenever I hear a siren or pass a church, say ‘Blessed be God, blessed be His holy name’ to myself when someone blasphemes on TV, listen to various prayers and/or Bible readings on my ipod as I’m waking up in the morning and/or going to sleep at night, things like that.

Can always put a bit more prayer into my day, though!
