Jesus, like You and Your family, during Your life on earth, no person or family seems exempt from times of anguish and trial.
In innumerable families, dear ones have drifted from the Church. There is loss of the perception of our selves as loved children of God redeemed by Jesus, and destined for eternal salvation and joy. There is increase diversity of illness and diminishing immunity to them. Then, amongst more appropriate treatments for these problems, there are a growing number of unethical responses.
There are mounting personal, family and social pressures, alienations and separations. Families and individuals suffer many difficulties and tragedies. Many persons in this world appear to find that trust in goodness and love, and in divine assistance and healing, to be a sincere daily struggle. Sometimes their ability to trust trust is damaged in childhood or infancy or later by unfaithful spouses, disloyal friends, or untrustworthy colleagues, or by seemingly unanswered prayer.
However, there remains a call to trust in God’s mercy in all these heartaches.
Please give us grace and opportunity to grow past our painful doubts, into trust, above all in a loving God who is ongoing creator of every person. Grant us to grow in self-acceptance and in confidence in dealing with others. Allow us experiences of enlightened kindness, and of love that promotes healing to perceptions and trust. Allow us to be experience of love and goodness to others.
Our God we ask Your help for our dear ones and for all persons, to receive and grow in love, faith and hope. Let Your loving will be fulfilled in their hearts and lives. Our thanks for this coming fulfilment, our God!
