Lord please hear our prayers for Irishmom’s son and come into his heart and guide him to be that loving responsible young man he really is underneath.It is stressful and heart breaking at times being a parent of an adult child who is unresponsive to guidance.Please grant strength and comfort to Irishmom and help her to know how to help her son.Thankyou Lord for hearing our prayers Amen

Lord, show Irishmom’s son that he needs You in his life. Transform his heart and spirit. Help him to be the mature man he should be. I pray that Irishmom’s son will stay with the job that will help him on the road to providing for himself with dignity. Help Irishmom and family during this difficult time. I just realized that this thread was begun almost a year ago. I wish I could report that everything is fine, but really, nothing has changed much. When one thing resolves itself, another takes it’s place. We just can’t seem to move forward. My son refuses to see his part in the failings of his life. I live everyday with the fear of some new catastrophe, waiting for the knock on the door or the phone call.

I feel like my life is on hold and I am not living my life to it’s fullest. His behavior affects everyone in our family.

I pray that He allows a small measure of peace so that you know that He is working in your son and renew your hope and faith that your son will return to the path God desires for him.
