Prayer Intention for my Son Needed- 2

Lord please hear our prayers for Irishmom’s son and come into his heart and guide him to be that loving responsible young man he really is underneath.It is stressful and heart breaking at times being a parent of an adult child who is unresponsive to guidance.Please grant strength and comfort to Irishmom and help her to know how to help her son.We pray that his job will become permanent and he will eventually move to his own home and be respectful to his parents.Thankyou Lord for hearing our prayers Amen

My son still has his job, but they cut his hours. They regularly mess with hours and keep people in a holding pattern, and use them instead of hiring them permanently. We were hoping that he would move out once he got a full time job.

He did something that may get him in further trouble legally and continues to be disrespectful. He seems unwilling to accept that he is his own biggest enemy. He is the one that gets himself into trouble because he lives for the moment and will not take any kind of advice from his parents. Everything is an argument, everything is viewed as an attack.

I just don’t want to be around him. Everyone in our family wants to avoid him. He is miserable and makes us all miserable. I cannot even come on here and post prayers for him because I am so tired of spending my time thinking about or interacting with him.

I thank you all for your prayers. I believe this thread will be closed next time the mods come through as it is way over 1000 posts. I really appreciate your prayers. But this seems to have no end.

Prayers needed for my son today especially. He is going to a job fair today. So I cut his hair and polished his shoes up. He has agreed to put on some respectable mom approved clothing and even decide to wear a tie on his own. 😉 He is off for there at 10 this morning. Hopefully he will get something out of this. He still has the other job, but it is grueling and terrible 12 hour days starting at 4 a.m.

Lord God ,we pray that You will continue to help the son of our dear friend Irishmom , so that he will apply himself as he restarts his job with his former employers . Please help him to cope with the very long hours , and develop a good work record with his employers so that he can move forward in his life ,but we ask You Lord to help him find new opportunities at the job fair today . We ask that You will bless him , guide him and help him so that he will start to make the right choices in his life .

Please grant strength to his dear mother and father so that they will continue to be the good and loving parents they have always been , and help them to endure all their worries and concerns. I ask Lord that you will help him to realise and be truly sorry for all the discord and unhappiness he has brought to his loving mother and father .

Please help him to make progress in his life now , giving him maturity and a sense of dignity , so that our friend and her family may have peace in their lives . Amen

Merciful Mother Mary , please pray for our friend’s son and his loving parents . Amen .
