Prayer intentions for unborn down syndrome babies and for their parents conversion

I was watching this report yesterday on the spanish news (Univision). Their last story was about a baby who is the model for a bikini company. The baby is a beautiful Down Syndrome baby girl.
This is were I hope everyone can say constant prayer for thiis cause, the reporter in his piece said that 9 out of 10 pregnacies that has a down syndrome baby, the parents decide to have an abortion. I have a sister who is 21 yrs old and when my mom was pregnant the DRs told her that the best thing for us to do was to have an abortion b/c my sister would be a vegetable. Well my sister is no were of a vegetable.
So if everyone who reads this prayers, please put in a small prayer for unborn down syndrome babies and for their parents so that they can see hope from the holy spirit.

Lord God, we thank You for the gift of life. Please give us wisdom and knowledge so that we may understand and appreciate the gift of new lives You give us. Bless the parents, siblings, and loved ones of babies with down syndrome. Give them strength and a steadfast faith in You so that they may not be swayed to terminate the lives of these precious gifts from You. Surround these families with loved ones and friends who can be a source of support, strength, and comfort. Lead them to doctors who truly know and value life. All these I ask in the name of Jesus, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. AMEN.

I pray that people stop seeing these children “down syndrome babies,” but as babies who happen to have down syndrome, and that people see them as a baby first, and not as a syndrome.

I also pray, as a father of a child with down syndrome, that we stop labelling them as down syndrome babies, and start calling them children or babies with down syndrome.
