Prayer Intervention for my Son Needed

Dearest friends,

I appreciate all of your faithful prayers. I am at a very low point today about a son that appears to remain unmoved, and unchanged by prayer. Last night, there was an incident which happened that has caused our family great distress.

I am at a loss as to what will happen in my son’s future and how to move forward. I find it extremely hard to pray, as all of the prayers over all of the past years haven’t seemed to help. I wonder if God has given up on us. It is hard to feel that prayer is helpful when things just seem to keep getting worse and not better. We have had nothing but heartache for 7 years.

Is this my life Lord? I beg of You to relieve us of this misery.
 
Lord God ,we ask You most humbly to please bless our dear friend’s son , guide him and help him so that he will start to make right choices in his life.Please grant strength to his dear mother and father so that they will continue to be the good and loving parents they have always been , and help them to endure all their worries and concerns.
Lord let Your love and the love of his parents penetrate the hardness of his heart ,
and grant O Lord , that their son will open his heart and mind to Your will and turn away
from the wrongful choices he has made so far . Merciful Lord , hear our prayers . Amen

Dear Lord please hear our prayers for our friend’s son. We pray for wisdom and knowledge for him.We pray he will mature into the wonderful young man he is designed by You to be.Lord please guide him continually through this difficult and challenging phase of his life, that he will gain experience and knowledge to move forward in his life in a positive fruitful manner.Please bless him and protect him from harm and grant strength and courage to his dear parents that they shall continue to be the excellent role models of love,faith and responsibility.Lord thankyou for hearing our humble prayers and for the many blessings in our lives.Amen
 
I found this quote on a support site I am on, it is about suffering. It helped me, I hope it helps you too:

I have a chance only today to love Him in the midst of my current hardships, for this is when my heart feels nothing and sees nothing, but still I move in love toward the One I can not see. And His heart is most undone. I feel nothing, but He feels everything!
In the dark night of suffering, when we feel nothing, He feels every little movement of our hearts and is able to do so much in us and even through us. "

Loving God,

We lift up our intentions today for the son of Irishmom2. Lord, we know you love each of your children, and allow them to make their own choices, but with time we ask that your great love and desires for this young man be made know to him in the right way so he will return to your loving arms and embrace the opportunity he has as a follower of yours. This world has many many illusions and complications that draw many away from the fullness of your love, dear Lord, and we pray that your grace and love for this young man may be made present to him through the many people you send into his life. We trust in your divine providence, and ask only for the courage and strength to see these times through with the grace and character you desire. Lord, please bless the parents, friends, and family members and help them to reach out in the right way, and at the right time, to assist in helping this young man turn his life around.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your people.
