Lord Jesus, may everything this young man does begin with You,continue with Your help,
and be done under Your guidance. May he grow in Your Love and Your service, and become a pleasing offering to You. Encourage and comfort his family through this most difficult time.
 
Lord I pray for our friend’s son.Please guide him in his life and may he open his heart and mind to Your will.Please bless him and grant him strength to overcome the challenges and temptations in his life that lead him astray and grant his parents the strength to lead him and love him with all the extra compassion and stamina needed to do so.Lord in Your mercy please hear our prayers Amen

I ask that you pray for my son. His bad choices in life have finally caught up with him. In a way, I thank God for that, as he has gotten away with things for too long, and never really had to answer for his mistakes. Until now.

I am here today to ask for a prayer intervention for him to change his life. He has been away from God for many years, despite a Catholic school education. Substance abuse, flunked out of college, in trouble with the law, poor choices of friends, disrespectful to family, you name it, he’s done it.

Please, if you will, pray for my son, that his current situation will make him think about his life and what a mess he has made of it in 22 short years. Pray that he will use his intelligent mind to see that he is the one that has cased his own problems, and that only he can fix them. His mistakes and troubles are his own doing. Pray that he will be lead to an awakening of the truth.

Lord, I pray that you have broken my son down completely and that now you will build him up. You alone can change his life and make him whole again. I turn him over to you and ask that you do whatever is Your will for him. He is lost. He is in a place where only you can find him. Be by his side and shield him from harm. I ask this through the intercession of Your Most Holy Mother, Mary.

Great St. Monica,
patroness of fathers and mothers,
please take our children,
especially those who have turned
from the ways of God and His Church,
under your protection.
Let them always remain faithful
to their baptismal vows.
Give them strength to walk always
in the ways of the Lord,
despite the temptations
and false values they find in the world today.
Grant that they may share with you
in the joys of eternal life in God.

Loving God,

We lift up our intentions today for the son of Irishmom2. Lord, we know you love each of your children, and allow them to make their own choices, but with time we ask that your great love and desires for this young man be made know to him in the right way so he will return to your loving arms and embrace the opportunity he has as a follower of yours. This world has many many illusions and complications that draw many away from the fullness of your love, dear Lord, and we pray that your grace and love for this young man may be made present to him through the many people you send into his life. We trust in your divine providence, and ask only for the courage and strength to see these times through with the grace and character you desire. Lord, please bless the parents, friends, and family members and help them to reach out in the right way, and at the right time, to assist in helping this young man turn his life around.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your people.

Lord God ,please bless our dear friend’s son , guide him and lead him to good people who will help him to make the right choices in his life.Please grant strength to his dear mother and father so that they will continue to be the good and loving parents they have always been , and help them to endure all their worries and concerns. Grant Lord , that their son will open his heart and mind to Your will and turn away from the wrongful choices he has made so far . Merciful Lord , hear our prayers . Amen

Father I pray that you will give our friends son a contrite heart, a heart that yearns for the truth. I pray he will not be able to rest until he seeks the Way the Truth and the Life which is only in You Lord Jesus. Only in your safe and loving arms will we drink of the living water that will truly satisfy his soul. I pray you will cause him to thirst for the life that is waiting for him in You Lord Jesus Christ.

Prayer to St. Gabriel, for Irish Mom and son- you are in my prayers.

O loving messenger of the Incarnation, descend upon all those for whom I wish peace and happiness. Spread your wings over the cradles of the new-born babes, O thou who didst announce the coming of the Infant Jesus.

Give to the young a lily petal from the virginal scepter in your hand. Cause the Ave Maria to re-echo in all hearts that they may find grace and joy through Mary.

Finally, recall the sublime words spoken on the day of the Annunciation-- “Nothing is impossible with God,” and repeat them in hours of trial–to all I love–that their confidence in Our Lord may be reanimated, when all human help fails. Amen.

I pray you will encourage Irishmom2’s heart and help her to know what to say to him, and to show the love of Christ even when he is difficult. Lord, I pray that you will not let this son rest until he submits to your Holy Will. In Jesus Name, Amen
 
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
My God rebuke him we humbly pray,

Lord help this son return to his baptismal grace. Give him eyes of faith to see his need for You and restore what has been meant for evil into good for Your glory, we give You thanks!
