Jer 33-3 is a way to pray and get personal revelation

My non catholic friends pray prophetic prayers

And say the holy spirit gives them ideas and visions.

Do you know catholics who gets visions and thoughts from the holy spirit as an answer to prayer?
 
Yes, at Catholic Charismatic prayer meetings I have been to, and in personal prayer lives.
 
Sometimes when I pray or just after praying, I see a vision of the Lord Jesus Christ.
 
I get ideas. Sometimes an answer as to how to handle a problem might come to me. No visions yet tho. I don’t expect them but if Jesus or Mary ever wished to appear I would do my best to be receptive.

Thanks for the quote. I was thinking that with all the media we watch that we (me) would probably be a lot better off talking (and learning) from God.

I think He does teach us things we do not know and helps form our character much better than the endless arguments and demands of media.
