Prayer Need for Love Advice

Friends, I’m in love with my best friend. Sounds peculiar but he’s a boy, and also am I. I don’t know why and even he doesn’t have the charms to make someone admiring him. He is kinda sweet or maybe he doesn’t mean it or I’m just too assuming when he is with me. He makes me feel special, which is normal and what best friends do. I tried to message him I LOVE YOU and yet he just laughed. There are times I don’t understand him. He often talked to me and oftentimes texted me when he needs my help. On the contrary, it came to my attention that he was just using me, for what others had noticed. I ignored them at first but as the time keeps runnin’, I can say they’re right. We still have this call sign or best friend nickname “Ga” which is derived from a Cebuano dialect “Palangga” or “Pangga” (which means Love, Care). I asked him if it’s okay for him to end up our relationship, together with our BFF nickname “Ga”. He refused saying “I am his forever” and yet do I have to trust his “forever-GA” promise or not? So I ended up focusing on my way, on my purpose, as one of God’s soldiers. I was too blind to see His angels around me and too deaf to hear His soft answers.

I need your prayers my friends, together with some concise advice and I’ll try my very best to internalize and make this as an enhancer towards a strong and firm faith to God 🙂
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. You seen to me to be a teen, teens emotions and attractions can be all over the place,
And I really mean,all over the place, it’s not entirely unusual for this to happen what your experiencing , the best thing I think to do is try and involve yourself into something mentally stimulating,something that involves mixing with a different group of people,
Like theatre group, or something else where you have an opportunity to meet others,
 
Please talk to a priest about this.

Praying to the Holy Spirit to give you guidance, direction, strength, fortitude & wisdom in your time of need.

A wise post in suggesting that your apparent orientation is not necessarily caste in stone. Mix with a wide variety of friends of both gender. Do not fantasize, rather live in the real world and be open to all people. Sitting in your room playing with verbal affectations will not bring you personal peace.
You are right to see any movement away from unnecessary emotional attachments of any kind as an opportunity to surrender your will to God.

altho they give very good advice, I have this
to add:
In TODAY’S world, Everything goes! Nobody
raises an eyebrow if two women cohabit as
a married couple or even if a father rapes his
SON! BUT above, high above all this insanity
God’s Laws stand in-violable!!! All His Laws serve
Him and they are to be fully OBEYED, not because
He wants to punish all who transgress them, but
because IN LOVE He provided these Laws to
create order out of the primeval CHAOS that was
the world(Gen 1:2)
 
If you are feeling same sex attraction, you need the help and advice of wise, prudent, been-there adults to guide you and help you make sense of your feelings. If you belong to a parish, I suggest contacting them to get you in touch with a mentor. Praying for you…
 
Usually, my prayers are for the intentions of the OP. In this case, it seems your intentions may be for something against the will of God for you, so my prayers are for God’s will for you. I am praying for you, that you be given peace, wisdom, understanding and chastity. Gracious God, it’s time. It’s time to make the hard decisions. Sometimes I’m scared, sometimes I’m confused and sometimes I just don’t want to believe I have to make a decision. Help me to trust You. As I read your advice and prayers, I finally see myself, the true me. Thank GOD for giving me such distant mirrors from different countries.

I was a child, really child at heart. So immature and innocent on how things work. I never thought you would stop scrolling for a moment and read my post.

I owe you fathom prayers and as a repay, I will also pray for you in my daily prayer intercessions 🙂
