I just broke up with my first boyfriend. I’m 27. The choice was between God, my parents, and him. I made the right choice. I hurt though. He was my first everything. Please pray for him and for me as well. I was angry at God during this relationship. It was like waking from a dream. I have sinned although I do not necessarily feel bad about it. Don’t trust feelings. I know that God is with me right now but I’d like the prayer support of my fellow Christians. Prayer to return to God and grow stronger with him. Thank you.

I am sorrythat you have broken up with your boyfriend.I do not really understand or know your circumstances so i pray for you to follow God’s will for your life.God bless

Prayer for Patience in Accepting God’s Will

Lord, teach me to be patient - with life, with people, and with myself. I sometimes try to hurry things along too much, and I push for answers before the time is right. Teach me to trust Your sense of timing rather than my ownand to surrender my will to Your greater and wiser plan. Help me let life unfold slowly, like the small rosebud whose petals unravel bit by bit, and remind me that in hurrying the bloom along, I destroy the bud and much of the beauty therein.

Instead, let me wait for all to unfold in its own time. Each moment and state of growth contains a loveliness. Teach me to slow down enough to appreciate life and all it holds. Amen.

PRAYER FOR RESIGNATION TO GOD’S WILL
Lord, if what I seek be according to our will, then let it come to pass and let success attend the outcome. But if not, my God, let it not come to pass. Do not leave me to my own devices, for you know how unwise I can be. Keep me safe under your protection Lord my God, and in your own gentle way guide me and rule me as you know best.
Amen.

Jesus I ask You to comfort and continue to give courage to this young woman.
Thank You for the graces that You have already given her.
She says that she has sinned in the relationship, so please guide and welcome her repentance, this choice of her will, if not her feelings.

“This…is what I pray before the Father from whom every family, whether spiritual or natural, takes its name: Out of His infinite glory, may He give you the power through His Spirit for your hidden self to grow strong, so that Christ may live in your heart(s) through faith, and then, planted in love and built on love, you will with all the saints have strength to grasp the breadth and the length, the height and the depth; until, knowing the love of Christ, which is beyond all knowledge, you are filled with the utter fullness of God.”

“Glory be to Him whose power, working in us, can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine; glory be to Him from generation to generation in the Church and in Christ Jesus for ever and ever. Amen.” [Ephesians 3: 14-21]

Jesus please lead her to healing, peace, and happiness.
