Fragile

Last spring I returned to the Catholic Church from Protestant land, I have left the faith all together, (from a practical stand point), and am miserable. I struggle w/my beliefs, w/prayer especially, study has came somewhat easy for me, but prayer has frustrated me over the years.

I pray that the Lord will give you a new heart and renew your spirit. May He grant you peace and provide you abundant grace to sustain you.

May the holy Trinity Father, son and Holy Ghost guide you and give you all that you need. God loves you do not despair. I’ll keep you in my prayers. :byzsoc:

Come, Holy Spirit, fill my heart with Your holy gifts.
Let my weakness be penetrated with Your strength this very day that I may fulfill all the duties of my state conscientiously, that I may do what is right and just.
Let my charity be such as to offend no one, and hurt no one’s feelings; so generous as to pardon sincerely any wrong done to me.
Assist me, O Holy Spirit, in all my trials of life, enlighten me in my ignorance, advise me in my doubts, strengthen me in my weakness, help me in all my needs, protect me in temptations and console me in afflictions.
Graciously hear me, O Holy Spirit, and pour Your light into my heart, my soul, and my mind. Assist me to live a holy life and to grow in goodness and grace.
Amen. :harp: View attachment 2387

Lord, please help this person and all like him to come to you sincerely and openly in prayer. You know what is in our hearts and feel his frustrations. Please allow the Holy Spirit to lighten his burdens and lift his heart up to you. Amen

Never lose hope, for your hope is in Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Prayer is not always easy and struggles are abundant. Always persevere…the Lord will not disappoint you.

I will pray for you.

Praying that our Lady will intercede for you.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and in the hour of our death. Amen.

May The Holy Spirit grant you inspiration, motivation, courage and strength…a talk with a priest may be helpful. You are in my daily prayers…saints are sinners who just refuse to give up. A thread into the Spirituality Forum explaining your problem will draw I am sure many helpful and encouraging advice.
One of Satan’s favourite and most powerful weapons is discouragement - to fill a soul on sighting and experiencing its own poverty and weaknesses with discouragement…
