Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Sacred Heart of Jesus, with all its love, all its sufferings and all its merits.

First … To expiate all the sins I have committed this day and during all my life.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Second … To purify the good I have done poorly this day and during all my life.

Please hear the humble prayers of your loving, but imperfect and sometimes sinful children. Help us always to continue striving to be the Holy people you have called us to be, and give us strength, encouragement, and correction as we travel our journey of faith so that we may hear your call and do your will each time we are presented with the opportunity.
