First … To expiate all the sins I have committed this day and during all my life.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Second … To purify the good I have done poorly this day and during all my life.

Father forgive us as we renounce our sins and humbly beg Your forgiveness for we know not what we do.
O my God because Thou art so good I am very sorry that we have sinned against Thee and with the help of Thy grace we will try never to sin again.
