Prayer of St Gertrude the Great for the Souls in Purgatory

Our Lord Jesus told St. Gertrude the great that the following prayer would release 1,000 souls from Purgatory each time it is said:

ETERNAL FATHER, I OFFER THEE THE MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD OF THY DIVINE SON, JESUS, IN UNION WITH THE MASSES SAID THROUGHOUT THE WORLD TODAY, FOR ALL THE HOLY SOULS IN PURGATORY, FOR SINNERS EVERYWHERE, FOR SINNERS IN THE UNIVERSAL CHURCH, THOSE IN MY OWN HOME AND WITHIN MY FAMILY. AMEN

I have been saying that prayer for the past few months - quite a few times a day. I also taught my nephews this prayer.

According to them, 59,468,930 prayers are still needed. However, this website has not been udpated since April 30, but not everyone is posting how many times they say this prayer and many don’t know about this site.

Even though this number is not accurate, it does put into some perspective just how many people are suffering in Purgatory and need our help.

Make sure that you also say the prayer and not just type it. The more times you say this prayer a day, the more folks get into Heaven. Another prayer you can say that will take 1 person into heaven each time it’s said is: Jesus Mary I love you, save souls.
