Christ commanded His followers to give up everything and follow Him. With this prayer, we are surrendering all of our earthly possessions to follow Him.

Take, O Lord, and receive my entire liberty, my memory, my understanding and my whole will. All that I am and all that I possess You have given me: I surrender it all to You to be disposed of according to Your will. Give me only Your love and Your grace; with these I will be rich enough, and will desire nothing more.

Amen.

Love this prayer!! It’s part of my daily morning prayers!!
Love St, Ignatius too! His Spiritual Exercises changed my life!😃

I prayer the other prayer of St. Ignatius after I receive the Eucharist. Gotta love Ignatian spirituality!
Lord, teach me to be generous. Teach me to serve you as you deserve; to give and not to count the cost, to fight and not to heed the wounds, to toil and not to seek for rest, to labor and not to ask for reward, save that of knowing that I do your will.

Oooohhh… Aaaaahhh…

Suscipe, Domine, universam meam libertatem.

I chanted this as an opening prayer to our company’s 2012 kick-off.

I miss going to Ignatian silent retreats. 😦

Thank-you for this prayer 🙂
Jesus, Mary I love You… save souls!!!

Not only our earthly possessions, but our whole being. All our earthly possessions mean nothing if we don’t surrender/give our selves. Have you tried giving up your self? How scary is that? 🙂

You got that right Choliks!😉

I am glad to see that people agree with this prayer. Say it daily, it may change your life.

This is a testimony i want to share with you all. I needed help to write my exams and pass with flying colors. I prayed to St. Joseph of Cupertino to help me with my exams. And guess what, i passed with flying colors. I therefore encourage you to invoke St. Joseph of Cupertino in your prayers. It really works. Trust me.🙂
