Prayer of Thanksgiving for Saving My Life

I want to thank our Heavenly Father, Our Lord Jesus Christ and our Blessed Mother for her intercession…God is working miracles in healing me of several potentially serious conditions, all by leading me to the Christian doctor who correctly diagnosed me with very severe sleep apnea!

Because I am using CPAP therapy for sleep apnea, my intraocular eye pressure which was leading to glaucoma has been corrected without medication…my Type 2 diabetes has been corrected without medication…I am losing all the weight I had gained due to my appetite hormones becoming disordered due to sleep apnea, and I’m losing it without any effort, because CPAP normalized my appetite…my skin is glowing pink again…my hair loss has stopped…my (ahem!) libido has returned despite having gone through menopause 10 years ago…I have boundless energy once again after so many years of thinking I was slowly dying…I have returned to my love of cooking and baking (although I’m making it for the family, not myself)…I’m no longer feeling like I’m starving all the time…I’m not snoring like a freigh train anymore…I’m not falling asleep for hours in the afternoon…it is AMAZING to me how much the human body needs oxygen for all of the organs to work properly…and my severe sleep apnea had been depriving my entire body of what it needed to survive!

And because God’s timing is so perfect…the CPAP treatment began a month before learning I need a knee replacement so I can walk again…I need to lose a certain amt of weight for the surgery but God so timed it that the weight loss had already begun thanks to CPAP treatment! So I am way ahead of the game so to speak!
