Prayer regarding toddler's amputations

My dear friends, I was having coffee with a friend this morning, and she told me of the plight of a friend’s 18 month old daughter, Bernadette, who is ‘recovering from’ Meningcocal Scepticiemia.

In the next two days the poor little girl will have both legs, some fingers and maybe an arm amputated.
I would love you to pray for her parents and for Bernadette. Thank you.

Jesus I don’t know what to say, but please do everything You can for this little girl and her parents. Thank You, Jesus
If a miracle isn’t forthcoming dear Jesus, please nevertheless ensure that Bernadette is a shining gift to all around her, regardless of disability. Thank You, Jesus, because You can do this.
 
Dear Lord, please be with Bernadette as she undergoes her surgeries and begins healing. Stay by the side of her parents and those who love her. Give them strength and courage to hold their child and support her through this time, her recovery and learning to live again in a different way. Help them to look to you for guidance and solace. Bless them, Lord, and keep them safe.

FOR A SICK CHILD
St. Gerard, who, like the Saviour,
loved children so tenderly
and by your prayers freed many from disease and even death,
listen to us who are pleading for Bernadette.
We thank God for the great gift of Bernadette
and ask Him to restore this child to health
if such be His holy will.
This favour, we beg of you
through your love for all children and mothers.

I will say a rosary for Bernadetter and her family.

O Father of mercies and God of all consolation, who providing in manifold tenderness for the good of Thy creatures grantest the grace of healing not only to the soul but also to the body, deign to raise this sick child from her bed of suffering, and to restore her safe and sound to Thy holy Church and to her parents; so that all the days of her prolonged life she may increase in grace and wisdom before Thee and men, serve Thee in justice and holiness, and give due thanks to Thy mercy. Through Christ our Lord Amen.

I will begin a Novena of Rosarys for this little child and also ask Our Blessed Mother to pray to her Son and ask for comfort for the parents and family of little Bernadette.
