I know this may sound very insignificant compared to many other intentions on this forum. Just got some bad news today at work. Because of it,it’s one of the days, depressing, looks like no happiness down further down way. I have a family and I just want to be able to support them. Not sure what to do, and make things right. I’m tore up… 😦 please pray…

Blessed St. Anthony, who in life was ever mindful of the needs of the afflicted, consuming himself in the service of God and for the good of souls, who was the enemy of idleness and a tireless worker in the vineyard of the Lord, beseech God to grant J-cath a suitable job, which may procure for him and his family a decent livelihood, and be at the same time a means of personal sanctification and of real service to others. Loving Father, had not Joseph been able to support Jesus and Mary with his work…what would have become of them?
In love of that most holy Family, please protect and bless J-cath and the family in all their temporal needs, as also, in their spiritual needs

Mother Mary please pray regarding the worries and needs of this family. When you and Joseph fled to Egypt with the infant Jesus, Joseph had to find work and shelter in a foreign land, and when you returned to your native land, Joseph again had to establish himself in support of you and Jesus. You intimately know the human hardships and challenges we face, and that J-cath faces. We ask your maternal intercession for this family.
 
Lord have mercy. Our All-Holy, Immaculate, Most Blessed and Glorified Lady, the Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Saint Mary pray for us!
 
Holy Michael the Archangel defend us in the day of battle.
