Praying for your intentions…

Lord Jesus Christ, You have willed that St. Dymphna should be invoked by thousands of clients as the patroness of nervous and mental disease and have brought it about that her interest in these patients should be an inspiration to and an ideal of charity throughout the world. Grant that, through the prayers of this youthful martyr of purity, those who suffer from nervous and mental illness everywhere on earth may be helped and consoled. .

Be pleased to hear the prayers of St. Dymphna and of Your Blessed Mother. Give those whom I recommend the patience to bear with their affliction and resignation to do Your divine will. Give them the consolation they need and especially the cure they so much desire, if it be Your will. Through Christ, Our Lord. Amen.

Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive
those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou among women,and
blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.

Hi Brian.👋
I ask You Jesus to please help Brian deal with whatever underlying situational, emotional, physical or mental problems are contributing to this addiction to food.
Please help him to uncover these, and to seek whatever help is needed, and help him to develop strategies that will keep him less occupied with eating. Help him to reach out to others for their welbeing rather than turn in on himself with this distressing problem.
Please help him to find peace in living a more wholesome emotional and personal life.

Mother Mary please pray for his healing.
His guardian Angel and patron Saint please help him to find proper balance and peace in his life. If he needs to go to Confession to begin afresh, please intercede for his courage to do so.

Hey Brian,
Just thought I’d offer a little something…Do you have diabetes, or thyroid problems? If you do your voracious appetite might be caused by an endocrine problem. If you feel guilty while you eat it could be emotional too. Just thought I’d ask to see what your situation is. I hope you get to a doctor who can help you identify your problems that are causing your weight problem, so you can begin losing weight and feel better in a jiffy. Oh and if you need to take a pill to help you shed the weight…even if it’s an antidepressant and something else, take it, and if it doesn’t work, know you can always talk to one of us at CAF.
With Love

Mary

Lord make me an instrument of your peace.

Mary,
I have a hypothyroid problem. I am on a medication called Synthyroid for it. Since my last update I have gained 7 pounds. I have some days where I eat very healthy but some days I eat so much that it cancels out my good days and I gain some. Please continueto pray for me and I will keep an updated log. Doing good so far today ate a very small healthy breakfast. Thanks Mary and all for your continued prayers.

O my Jesus,
forgive us our sins,
save us from the fires of hell,
lead all souls to heaven,
especially those who are in most need of thy mercy.

Usually if there is a thyroid problem diabetes type 2 can follow. I gained 100 pounds since I’ve been on Synthroid and I eat very little and have diabetes. Get checked for type 2 diabetes as well Just so you can stay ahead of the game. Find a way to take a walk every day so that you don’t gain weight all of a sudden like I have. It’s the nature of the ‘‘beast’’. It’s not so much an eating disorder than it is your blood glucose most likely rising due to prediabetes. Type 2 diabetics gain weight really quickly and usually have hypothyroid problems. Watch how much carbohydrate you eat… it causes the weight gain you are having.
God Bless, and I’ll continue to pray for your good health.

Hi my name is Brian and I have an eating disorder. I eat way too much. It is almost daily gluttony and I am scared of going to hell of it but also have problems controlling the quantity of food I eat. Any prayer for God to help cure me of my gluttonus habits would be greatly appreciated thanks and I will continue to make my own efforts. Thanks.

Lord Jesus,You said,
“I have come to set the captives free.”
We are captive and need Your healing touch.
Free us, Lord, from our addictions,
so that we will be:
…free from the cares and worries that stifle our happiness;
…free from sins that cling to us, and to which we cling;
…free from all compulsive behavior
that prevents us from becoming what You, Lord,
have planned for us.
Bring us, loving Savior,
to the experience of abundantlife
which You promised.
