Please pray for my ex-girlfriend Margaret. We had been dating for 4 years and were working towards marriage. However, busy schedules put strain on our relationship, and she has left me. She tells me that she still wants to pursue marriage with me but that we are at different points in our lives right now. But I feel as if she is growing away from me and is running away from everything that we have had together.

So I ask for this: Please pray that we can both grow through the will of Christ individually and eventually back to each other. Please pray with me for her protection from evils and the protection of her beautiful, loving heart. She is the most amazing woman in the world, and I truly believe that it is God’s intention that we grow together into marriage. Also, I would like to ask for you all to pray for the peace of my heart. I am trying to give my heart to God and place all of my faith in Him, but I am having trouble because my heart is hurting so much.

Thank you all for your prayers. I truly do appreciate it.

Your Brother in Christ,
Matt

Most merciful and compassionate Lord Jesus Christ,
today, Your faithful servant Matt comes to You with a troubled heart, for he is separated from Margaret, a woman he truly loves & hopes to marry. The daily obligations of this world seem to have set them on a path of division, rather than unity. Even though Matt is stressed & sad, he seeks to remain steadfast in faith, placing all his trust in You, Jesus. Together, we lift up his intentions to You, humbly asking that in Your infinite mercy, healing will come.

Lord, please hear our prayer. Through Your Most Sacred Heart, touch and mend Matt’s life, bringing him peace of heart & mind. Grant him the grace of perseverance in the faith, and the strength to carry on, following in Your footsteps, so that he may always proclaim, "Jesus, I Trust in You!"

We ask that You watch over Margaret also, shielding her from every evil. Please send Your holy angels to protect and guide them both. Bless them, O Lord.

And if it be Your holy will,
permit Matt & Margaret to overcome all past obstacles & present detours, reuniting them in love and in faith, so that these two may become one, in Your Holy Sacrament of Marriage.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
O blessed Jesus,
give me stillness of soul in You.
Let Your mighty calmness reign in me.
Rule me, O King of Gentleness,
King of Peace.

Heavenly Father and Holy Spirit, please receive our prayers for Matt and Margaret.

We ask through our Lord Jesus Christ Who lives and reigns with You. Amen.

Hail Mary,
full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Heavenly Father, for sake of Your Son who has lived amongst us with a human heart, please grant that Margaret and Matt will both grow in love, wisdom, and maturity individually and together. Please protect Margaret and Matt from harm and protect their love for each other. Matt loves and admires her and believes that You desire them to grow and flourish together into marriage.

Father, Matt is hurting badly. Please give his heart and mind peace, the peace of knowing that he will have a loving marriage with the woman he loves and that Your desire for him. It’s hard to trust when his feelings are so painful and at times desperate, but help him to succeed in trust and hope, and receive his heart into Your care. Please touch the heart and mind of his future wife to love him sincerely, unselfishly, and faithfully.

THank You, Father

~For Gods’ Blessing~
( Pro Dei Beneficiis)
I praise, glorify, and bless You, my God
for the immeasurable blessings
shown to me who am unworthy of them.

I praise
Your compassion
extended to me for so long a time
and your gentleness
appearing in the guise of correction.

I praise
Your tenderness
calling out to me,
Your kindness
welcoming me,
and Your mercy
forgiving my sins.

I praise
Your goodness given to me beyond
what I deserve and Your forbearance
that does not remember grievances.

I praise
Your humility that consoles me, Your patience that shelters me,
Your eternity that preserves me, and Your truth that rewards me.

What can I proclaim, my God about Your ineffable generosity?

For you call the fugitive back. You welcome the one who returns. You sustain the faltering. You gladden the despondent. You prod the negligent. You arm the warrior.
You crown the victor. You spurn not the repentant sinner. You do not remember his
wrongdoing. You free him from many perils. You soften his heart for penitence. You
frighten him with chastisement. You entice him with promises. You castigate him with rods. You guard him with ministering angels.

For You supply us with all temporal goods. You reserve for us an eternal good. You
inspire us with the beauty of creation. You appeal to us with the mercy of redemption.
You promise us blessings in reward.

For all these I am incapable of sufficient praise.

I thank Your majesty
for the abundance of Your immense goodness.
May You increase Your grace in me,
preserve that increase,
and reward what You have preserved.

Hollowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
On earth as it is in Heaven

Give us this day, our daily bread
And forgive this our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us

Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil

I’ll keep praying this for you …

Heavenly Father, guide your children, Matt and Margaret as they navigate through this difficult time. Pour your Graces down upon them, giving them wisdom and faith in Your will. Open their hearts to your desires, for only in this way can they experience the greatest joy, living the life you envisioned for them. May Margaret find the courage and serenity to search her soul and discover that which best fulfills God’s desires for her.

Bring Matt peace and help him to trust in Your plan, may he find comfort in knowing that you are the Creator of All Things and nothing happens that You do not allow to happen. May he know, too, that God is all-knowing and loves us perfectly, including knowing what is best for us. May Matt, in joining his suffering and wounds with those of your most Sacred Heart, find the courage and strength and peace to move forward with complete faith.

Whatever their choices, may both of these individuals find themselves closer to You through their efforts, prayers, and the prayers of others. May they realize that true Love wishes greater happiness for their beloved and always deisres that they be brought nearer to You, Love, most pure.

Amen
