A very good friend of mine who joined an order in 2014 and who is in her novitiate (in US) has been introduced to certain risky practises like Yoga and it appears that my nun friend is happy with doing Yoga. Kindly pray that she is able to realize the dangers of Yoga and refrain from it if her circumstances allow her.

Request all to say 1 Hail Mary for her.

Praying to the Holy Spirit to give this Noviciate guidance, direction, strength, fortitude & wisdom during her journey in God’s service.

I would just like to note that yoga itself - as in, the stretches - aren’t intrinsically evil. It’s the focus on one’s self that’s worrisome. Still, definitely praying for her and her order! 🙂

Hail Mary, full of grace the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

*Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. *

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and in the hour of our death. Amen.
*
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.*

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
