Prayer request for an ugly custody battle

Hello everyone and thank you for being such faithful prayer warriors. I pray right now for all your intentions +JMJ+

My daughter has a 7 moth old beautiful baby girl. She has gone through hell in her life, and upon finding out she was pregnant with this child, has done everything she needed to in order to turn her life around and be a wonderful mother. Including anything she had been doing that was destructive or unhealthy.

The father and his family, are, toxic to an unholy degree. I am not exaggerating nor slandering by stating this. They simply are on a mission to take over the care of the baby and separate her from my daughter at every turn.

My daughter has been working with them, even under heavy derision and constant criticism, to be sure they have plenty of visiting time. They are not happy with any of it because they want to take the baby off without my daughter, and nothing else will do .

This week, they initiated a custody case, and the information they were given did not satisfy them or make them feel as though they were going to “win.” So, on one of the visits to their home last night, they attempted to throw my daughter out and keep the baby.

In the end, they relented, and we brought her home.

My daughter is greatly shaken, as we all are. We are going to look into what legal action we can take, if any, the first chance we get.

My request is for prayers for my daughter, who suffers from PTSD , and has had a related seizure disorder. She has done so much to turn her life around. The father has not, and if anything is going backwards. I ask for favor in the eyes of the court. A decent public defender, as we are not able to afford a personal lawyer. Safety for her and her daughter. And for her to come to faith in Christ in His Church. Something that is in process, but due to a lifetime of hurt, is not there yet. It breaks my heart to see her be fearful that these people may be able to taker her daughter away, which is what they are driving for.

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
