Brothers and sisters

I ask for your prayers on my 23rd birthday, that I may serve our Lord with all heart, and soul, and body. That I may be strenghtened in my faith, and that our good Lord may reveal to me His plans for me, especially if I should go into priesthood.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help and sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I hasten to you. O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you, I come; before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, do not despise my petition, but in your mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
Pray for me, Saint Francis Xavier, that I may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Lord, send angels to help Lucius exhibit your will throughout this year and all years throughout this temporal pilgrimage. May this soul be a shining light to others and be led to heaven, now and forever. Our Lady, pray with us. Amen.

soften those with hardened hearts,
enlighten those who do not yet see truth,
help us be brave enough to let our anger and hurt go,
show us the way to do the right thing,
protect those in danger, guide us from every evil;
may all who keep your sacred commemoration
experience the might of your assistance.
